Gametime is all about the fabric placement. By showcasing two college colours on alternate sides of the pinwheel block a secondary zigzag pattern is formed. Piecing a four-patch for the centre square accentuates the design.

In the project shown, the borders and binding are mitred. But if you have not yet mastered those skills, there are alternate directions for a traditional border and binding.
