I have had one of these myself for many years, and bought this for a friend. She was just about to turn up some jeans for her grandson. She was delighted with it, and thanked me for it profusely several times over after she used it. It made sewing over that bulky seam a breeze, but it can also be used for many other applications where seams are bulky.
