Jacquard paints to give your fabric projects a whole new dimension!
There are a number of varieties of paints that all do something different and unique! A whole lot of fun to use with fabric!!!
Neopaque- These paints are light body, opaque acrylics that can be painted, screened, stenciled, marbled and stamped. Use them on all surfaces including wood, canvas, paper and fabric. A light application covers well on dark backgrounds while use on light backgrounds produces a subtle designer palette alternative to a more intense colour scheme. They brush on smoothly, are water-based, dry cleanable, lightfast, and remain soft and flexible when dry.
Lumiere - Gorgeous metallic paints spread smoothly and stay flexible. They are a perfect choice for fabric and leather, but are also stunning on surfaces like paper, photos, wood, shrink plastic and even Styrofoam. The line contains traditional metallic colours as well as pearlescent, halo and hi-lite colours. Whether you want a little sparkle or a lot of dazzle, there is a Lumiere colour for you!
Dye-na-Flow -A free flowing, concentrated liquid colour for use on any untreated fabric. It will spread on fabric until it is thoroughly absorbed and even. Every fabric has a different flow and spread. It is magical on silk, but works on any type of fibre
- natural or synthetic. Incredibly versatile, perfect for silk painting, spritzing through stencils, sponge painting and simplified batik or wax resist effects. Requires heat fixing by ironing or being placed in a clothes dryer.
