Bohin | Embroidery/Crewel Needles | Sizes 7
Crewel needles size 7 have a medium-long eye, a shaft slightly thinner than the eye (the eye bulges slightly at the top of the shaft), and a sharp tip. They’re used for general surface embroidery, crewel work, goldwork, whitework, and practically any embroidery technique that requires a sharp needle.
Their sharp tip makes them perfect for piercing tightly woven ground fabric and their slightly longer eye accommodates embroidery threads of various weights. Crewel needles come in sizes 1-12, with 1 being the largest and 12 being the finest.
A needle sounds harmless. However, that needle makes a difference during your stitching projects. Guided by your hand, a needle is an indispensable tool that will allow you to achieve your goal to reach perfection. Bohin has maintained this level of perfection in their workshops since 1833 because they know that a breaking or twisting needle that doesn't slide and cuts your thread will be a waste of your time and will ultimately damage your creativity. At BOHIN, they place great emphasis on all their products to make sure they provide you with the best ease of use.
