Introduction to the EveryThing Fabric Blog
Author: Carrie Newman
I love creating. That is just where I am happiest! My next love would be the joy of watching people develop their skills and the enjoyment they get when they've made something. It's just the best. You see, I believe everyone has skills. They just need a bit of help in the learning....and it's amazing what can come of it!! So that is why I thought I would like to be involved with swaps. You can help people learn, meet new people and share!
I hope you enjoy following along with me on my journey; creating, learning and sharing.

Learning Curves20 January 2019Just read ( Thank You 's) comment ......Good for you = keep doing/sewing ....we all achieve mature age = hopefully .... I have just started teaching basic sewing at almost 74 years young = I am in my second year now so they have asked me back - bought sewing machines that I have requested & my students seem to appreciate my efforts - I have joined up with a younger teacher & we have up to 20 students at a time - lots of laughter & fun is enjoyed by all ...it is NEVRR too late ....I also think that we have a duty to pass on our skills & to help others with their craft as long as is possible .....Cheers everyone ...Anne R.
Thankyou.31 December 2017I enjoy your blogs and tips. I would love to participate in swaps but I worry I may not be as good as I used to be due losing most of my vision. I still quilt, sew, crochet etc but I have had to come up with my own method how to do things. I have left a comment about a creative grids product which is priceless. If you have any one who may be physically disabled (I also have MS) or having challenges I am happy to see if I can help. Happy new year to one and all
