Make laminated fabrics quickly and easily! Simply iron on to your fabrics and they are ready to sew! Makes fabrics water resistant and durable and can be hand washed or wiped. Suitable for making heaps of items including bibs, change mats, beach bags, coasters, rain coats and covering school books.
Iron-On Vinyl is a way to transform any smooth fabric into water-resistant fabric! Iron-On vinyl is durable, flexible and sewable! Use it to make beach bags, reusable lunch bags, aprons, art smocks, placemats, coasters and other home decor projects. Water resistant - CPSIA complaint - contains no BPA or lead, but even though the plasticizes DIDP is a Phthalate not banned by the government, as a precaution thermoweb suggests that Iron-On Vinyl not be used on items that are meant to be chewed on or sucked on by children.
Directions are included - but here they are:
1. Pre-wash all materials without fabric softeners. Pretest on materials before starting project.
2. Preheat iron to medium heat, no steam
3. Peel vinyl from protective paper. Place vinyl, sticky side down, onto top of material. Place protective paper that was just removed on top of vinyl (Fig 1 and Fig 2)
4. Press and hold iron on the protective paper for 8 seconds. Repeat until entire surface is laminated. (Fig 3) Do not touch iron directly onto vinyl!
5. Flip project over. Press and hold iron on back of project for an additional 4 seconds. Repeat until entire surface has been heated (Fig 4)
6. Allow to cool before sewing project.

This item is Sold from the bolt so it can be cut in one continuously section if you want more than 1 yard in length. The bolt width is 61 cm or 24 inches. Choose 2 if you want 61 cm x 2 yards and so on. Comes with instructions for use, but you can also find PDF instructions at Instructions for use

Important information regarding shipping of this product
This product is exteremly light however when folded takes up a lot of volume. We can fit only 1 yards into a large envelope however any quanity above this will require shipment in a cylinder which protects the product more and requires no creasing.
We can fit up to four yards in this type of cylinder (weight restricition) . Our experience is from customer feedback is that shipping folded (up to 1 yards) has not negatively affected the performance of the product. If ordering more than 4 yards please call for a shipping quote
It is not our policy to make any profit from from shipping. Any amount in excess of 10% of the actual cost will be refunded to you.
